In youth, an anxiety disorder is the most common mental health disorder (Villabo et al., 2018) affecting 15-20% of youth (Kagan et al. 2016; Salloum et al., 2018; Wu et al., 2019) with about 75% of these youth beginning symptoms between the ages of 11 and 21 (Starrenburg et al., 2017).
