Emily Metzger

Emily obtained her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, with a minor in psychology from Arcadia University in 2020. She has continued her training and education at Eastern University through the Clinical Psychology Program. Emily has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, including couples as well as family counseling. She has experience working with concerns including Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum disorder, Stress and trauma, Relationship conflict, and LGBTQIA+ concerns.

Drawing from her personal and professional background, Emily has created therapeutic skills that encourage a patient, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach when working with her clients. By creating safe and supportive spaces, and passionately supporting clients in their personal development, Emily employs a person-centered approach in conjunction with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Applied Behavioral Analysis aimed at helping all clients strengthen their personal skill sets and achieving their goals.

Valerie Zizik

Valerie obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Franklin & Marshall College in 2019. She has continued her training and education at Villanova University through the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. Valerie has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She emphasizes the importance of creating a safe, therapeutic environment for clients to grow and heal. Valerie utilizes a combination of approaches including person-centered and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) tailored to each client’s needs and preferences. She believes in fostering client autonomy and allowing clients to determine the direction of therapy, while also helping clients develop and strengthen skills to aid them in achieving their goals.
