Alicia Byelich

Perkasie and Pottstown, PA 

Alicia received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2001 in Psychology from Eastern University. While pursuing her Master of Science in Counseling at Cairn University, she joined Compass Counseling and Associates as an intern in May of 2022 and following her graduation in May of 2023 will continue with Compass as she pursues her LPC.

Alicia is a mother of three and has been married for 21 years. She uses her personal experiences, education, and professional work in counseling to collaboratively set goals and come alongside her client’s life experiences and struggles.

Along with interning at Compass, Alicia has previous professional experience interning at both a Crisis Pregnancy Center and Alternative School, moving on to work as a Mental Health technician on an Inpatient Mental Health Unit and the later as a Crisis Worker.

She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families who struggle with: Depression, Anxiety, Interpersonal Conflict, Personality Disorders, Grief, ODD, ADHD and more. Working alongside each individual and discovering his or her personal strengths and unique values, Alicia pulls from her experience in CBT, DBT, EFT, and Christian Counseling, using a collaborative, holistic and person-centered approach to help the client meet their needs and goals.
